Nice write up. I'm a Baby Boomer and made tech/mgmt consulting my career path. I've been using Notion for personal and professional productivity. And - helping a few clients embrace Notion (and similar tools). Notion excels in objective and task sharing. Think OKR and other tasks that really leverage the table features. Information sharing - great. Note taking or writing products - I agree - not so great. For general note taking - I'd lean towards Apple's Notes. Writing - MS Word or Google Doc - simply because more potential collaborators have access to the tools.

Don't let me forget - Moleskin + Flair pen (or pencil) really can't be beat for note taking. It is not the initial note draft - but my countless follow up scribbles, ideas, pictures and cross ref mark-up that deliver value (to me). Ideas don't follow structure that tech no matter how good/advanced just doesn't provide. And - my paper never needs charging.

Notion is very powerful and getting better with each release. It really delivers value in small to moderate sized firms/teams - especially distributed team members.

Keep us posted on your Notion journey.
